Environmentally friendly products
In recent years, we have had an increasing focus on including environmentally friendly alternatives in our range and the number of eco-labelled products increases from year to year. This is a continuous process, where we constantly evaluate alternative products and suppliers.
There are many different environmental labels, here is an overview of the most used environmental labels in our industry:
The Swan label
The swan is the official Nordic environmental label. Products marked with the Swan label meet high environmental and quality standards. Swan-labelled products meet defined environmental requirements. Tests are carried out in independent laboratories and through control visits. The requirements for certification are strict and are adjusted regularly.

The EU flower
The flower is the official European eco-label established by the European Commission. Norway participates in Blomsten as part of the EEA agreement, and the Ecolabelling foundation is responsible for Blomsten in Norway. There is a close collaboration between Blomsten and the Nordic Swan label. The requirements for certification are strict and are adjusted regularly.

Green dot
Grüne punkt (Grüne punkt) is originally a German labeling scheme, which states that the manufacturer is associated with a scheme for recycling packaging.

FSC
The Forest Stewardship Council is an international labeling scheme for forest raw materials that requires consideration of the social, ecological and economic operation of forestry in accordance with established criteria.

PEFC
PEFC is the world's largest forest guardian system.

Blue Angel
Blå Engel sets environmental requirements for products during production, during use and as waste. The certification provides a guarantee that the product is among the least environmentally harmful within the relevant product group.

TCO
A branding scheme for computer equipment, mobile phones, headsets and office furniture. The brand sets requirements for the product's ergonomics, radiation, environmental properties and energy consumption.

Energy star
Labeling of energy-efficient office equipment. Criteria exist for computers, monitors, copiers, printers etc.

Fair trade
The Fairtrade guarantee mark is a guarantee that farmers and workers in some of the world's poorest countries receive a fair price for their quality products.

NF-Environnement
The official French organic certificate. Products that are certified are produced in an environmentally friendly way and/or from environmentally friendly components. In order to be certified, certain requirements/criteria must be met.

Paper by Nature
Paper by Nature is a unique international environmental label for refined paper products, which guarantees environmental responsibility throughout the entire production chain from raw material to end user. Paper by Nature branded products are checked by an independent third party to guarantee compliance with strict environmental criteria.

Inkry - Emo environmental label
In our range, we have several products that meet the requirements for eco-labeling, but where the manufacturer has chosen not to take the cost of eco-labeling a product. Where we have documentation that the product is environmentally friendly, we have inserted our own environmental label.
